Congratulations to me for my successful installion of dual boot win98/win2k. All is well apart from my crappy win98 USB modem not being supported by the 2k beast, but thats no great loss.

Sitting here thinking I must calm down as the staffers are complaining about my constant good mood. bunch of bloody bah-humbuggers! (New at McDonalds - the McBah-humbug)
How can they fail to be happy? It s after all the best day of the working week. Been a really chilled week for me, not so for Rachel as she heard an update on her court case involving the wanker lorry driver (fuck him) who drove straight into her at a roundabout and tried to claim she did to him. The bastard gets the privalge of having the case in his hometown, which means we have to drive Oxford-York just to see this slimebag get his comeuppance. (we hope!)
Ooops. went off on an unplanned rant there. I feel even better now :)

hmm. If my calculations are correct, I walk nearly a mile at work per week, just visiting the coffee machine. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing.

The Women's Font Colective - all women, all the time.
Not trying to be rude or anything, but the sites title did make me chuckle when I surfed on in.
I love my staff. I sent around an email advising that one of the groups 'Top Dogs' would be visiting today, and that they should be on their best behaviour. Tamlan 'Dr Dipper' sent this reply to me:

Can we do a tribal dance? And offer her fresh goat meat? It would be very respectful.

Shaft is out on DVD now. We made the mistake of assuming it would be a good choice. It wasn't. It was pretty painful watching. Reminded me of a crap tvm starring some down-on-their luck and forgotten actor. Simply put, the plot was dire. Samuel L Jackson is da man, but not in this movie. He was given all the freedom to move of a US airman shot down over China. (which is 'not a whole heck of a lot')

Luckliy we also rented 'Snatch', which was pure class. Bit on the 'boys movie' side but the Wife enjoyed it equally as well. Featuring a gob-smacking amount of pretty nasty gangsters, a dog that swallowed a squeaky toy which managed to upstage almost all the actors in every scene it was in, the pope in a cameo 'pizza-delivery'role (1.25hrs into the movie.) and the gorgeous Tonya Harding as Jim 'Skeletor' Jones. Snatch had the best 'DVD extras' that we've ever seen. A whole extra disc of goodies to view. It surprises me how utterly crap some DVD extras can be. We saw 'The thin blue line' (not sure of exact title) which was a BAD war movie set in the pacific. For some reason the producers decided to include 12 Polynesian songs as the only 'extras' to be found.
